Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Robin and I will be taking part in the Aberdovey Bike Ride 2018, optimistically hoping to pedal over 400 miles in 4 days from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey in Wales, with some mountains in the way. Although there is a lot of climbing,  the reward is some awesome descending, and raising money for a fantastic cause!

All cyclists pay their own costs, and the support crew members donate their time for the love of raising a LOT of money for charity, so every penny you donate goes to charity. This is the fourth year that we will be taking part.

We have chosen to support Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance this year.
SCAA currently operates one helicopter, an EC135-T2i, and one rapid
response vehicle - taking expert paramedic care to the scene of
time-critical emergencies, whether it be on a road, in a field or at
someone’s home.  SCAA then transports patients to specialist hospitals
to receive the most appropriate advanced care.
