Story
Having started swimming just four years ago, I decided to take on the challenge of swimming for charity. Swimathon is the world's biggest annual fundraising swim and I'm so excited to be part of it - if not a little nervous!
My challenge is to swim 2.5k of front crawl to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie as they are teaming up and heading down to the pool for Swimathon 2018 – thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge!
Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, will be involved in Swimathon for the first time.
Marie Curie, the UK’s leading charity for people with any terminal illness and their families, has been Swimathon's charity partner ten times since it launched in 1986 and has raised over £17 million for the charity through the event during that time.
Please support my fundraising for two incredible causes and check my JustGiving page or on Twitter @AnnaHolton13 to see how I'm getting on both towards my fundraising target and my 2.5k swimming challenge!
A challenge for everyone. A #SwimForAll
