Cardiff Half Marathon 2019 for The Wallich

Cardiff Half Marathon 2019 · 6 October 2019 ·
The Wallich is doing something about homelessness. They give vulnerable people the accommodation and support to live safer, happier, more independent lives and become part of their communities. They believe everyone deserves the right to a home and to feel positive about their future. The number of people experiencing homelessness has risen year-on-year for the last seven years and there is now an unprecedented demand for services.
Myself and Dan found ourselves homeless in early 2009, we were
transfered to a hostel for a few short months, it was a very disruptive, vulnerable time in our lives and we were lucky we had a safe place to sleep - we never once saw it coming. It only takes a few small events that are out of your control to be pushed into a position whereby something like homelessness can effect you. Thankfully things are very different now :D, however, homelessness can effect anyone at any point. Since 2010 estimates show 165% more people sleeping rough in Wales (Wallich, 2019).
Please sponsor me today and ensure The Wallich continues to offer a lifeline to people sleeping rough, helping them to take their first step out of homelessness.
