Story
On Sunday 26th April I am going to jog/walk/run 2.6 miles (4.2km) with Clover on my shoulders and at each km I will stop and do 26 burpees, 26 star jumps and 26 press ups (I will take Clover off my shoulders for this part 😆). I will still be running the London Marathon on Sunday 4th October.
I am doing this for The 2.6 Challenge which has been created to help raise much needed funds for UK charities who are all suffering during this difficult time on the day the London Marathon should have been run.
My chosen charity for the London Marathon is the fantastic Action for Children and I would love to help them now, and then again on Sunday 4th October when the marathon will now take place. So at the weekend as a family we brainstormed ideas and came up with the above plan.
As this is not the full marathon and I will be asking for support later in the year, I was hoping people might enter into the spirit of the 2.6 challenge and sponsor me £2.60...
