At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi everyone!

Firstly thank you for stopping by on the page, even if you don't donate, it shows you are interested. Secondly thank you in advance if you do donate, it means a lot to me.

My Grandma suffered from very severe Alzheimer's when I was in my late teens and early 20s, which was horrible for me since my grandparents were some of the closest friends I had. I watched my Grandad somehow cope with looking after my Grandma and when he died, it just got so much worse.

I am riding from London to Paris not just to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society in my grandmother's memory but also to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Again, thank you for reading this, it means a lot to me.
