Vetlife are an independent charity that provide free and confidential support for anyone in the veterinary community with emotional, health or financial problems.

Nearly 70% of veterinarians have lost a colleague or peer to suicide and 6 in 10 have sought professional help for their mental health. Vetlife is literally a lifeline for many people in the profession, but so many do not realise it even exists, let alone the work that it does. I’ve decided to run the London Marathon for Vetlife to raise awareness for the charity both within and outside the profession, and hopefully to raise a few pennies for them!
