Anna's Great North Run Payback

BUPA Great North Run 2010 · 19 September 2010 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Firstly, thank you again to all of those who sponsored me in The London Triathlon - I raised £331.20 for Cancer Research.
My last athletic challenge (unless I get through the ballot for the 2011 London marathon!) before firmly concentrating on my career is The Bupa Great North Run on 19th September. This entails running 13miles around Newcastle!
For those unaware - I was born 2 months premature, weighing in at a staggering 2pounds 15ounces! Take a look at the photos to see how small this was (the photos of me at 30mins old are too disgusting/disturbing to be uploaded!).
Due to the life saving importance of Newcastle General Hospital Neonatal Baby Care Unit very early in my life, I thought I would use the opportunity to raise some money for Bliss - a charity dedicated to the care of premature and sick babies.
I realise having raised so much, so recently, for The London Triathlon it is cheeky to ask for sponsorship again, but if you would like, I would be very grateful if you would sponsor me in my endeavour to raise some money as payback for all the help I was given when I was born! Alternatively, some supportive words, or quotes such as 'you are a nutter' are equally as welcome!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks very, very much. Needless to say, I won't be aiming to break any family running records, but aim to finish in something resembling a semi-respectable time!
