Thank you for visiting my page. This February I'm taking on Sarcoma UK's Turn the Page Read-a-thon! I've set myself the challenge of reading a book a week and raising money to change the story when it comes to sarcoma.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. With only 5,300 people diagnosed every year, sarcoma can be a very isolating diagnosis for patients, friends and family.
Your support is invaluable.
💙 £1 could cover the cost of 12 texts to the Sarcoma UK Support Line, helping those affected by this rare cancer feel less alone.
💙 £10 could buy 100 pipette tips which handle liquid samples in the lab, supporting sarcoma research.
💙 £30 could pay for a Sarcoma UK Support Group Leader to attend a training event.
💙 £150 could buy a case of cell culture flasks, to grow cells from patient samples for further testing and to increase our understanding of sarcoma.
