Hi, 1 month to go!!! 

Our training so far is going great and yesterday we completed the three Yorkshire peaks…safe to say we hurt today but went out this morning and completed another 7 miles. Your donations are keeping us going and making the pain totally worthwhile, so thanks for visiting our page and donating to this well deserved cause which is so close to our hearts 💕

We are hoping to conquer the Ultra Challenge by each walking 🐯🚶‍♀️🥾100km (70 miles) over two days in the Lake District 🏞 in June 2022. Combined we will take c300,000 steps 🦶in the challenge alone! Let’s not even begin to think about how many we will do in training 😬😳🙈😂

We hope to smash this walk to raise awareness and lots of money for the Maggies Centre at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. One in two of us will be touched by cancer and we have both seen first hand the devastating effects it can have on the person diagnosed and their family and friends.

Maggies provides a calming, informal place for anyone affected by cancer to visit. Advice, support and guidance is given by on site psychologists, cancer support specialists and support workers. Whether it be counselling, group support sessions or even just a place to have a cuppa and a chat with people who understand, their door is always open.
