Story
WVS (Worldwide Veterinary Service) is a UK registered charity providing a sustainable veterinary resource to help animals all over the world, championing animal welfare and treating animals in places where no one else can.
On 8th October I will be running the Bournemouth Half marathon to raise some much-needed funds so they can continue with the vital work that they do. This is a huge personal challenge and is the longest distance I have ever attempted but doing it for such a great cause makes it all worthwhile!
Please donate as much as you can to help animals all over the world. At the moment WVS are supporting over 1000 charities in more than 100 countries; your support will enable this to continue and to grow.
This amazing charity is a lifeline to animal welfare charities across the globe, supplying them with teams of vets, medicine, and equipment. They run their own sustainable projects from outreach clinics in India where they treat donkeys in remote areas, to dog population control campaigns in Malawi. They conduct welfare education and conservation operations, rescue and rehabilitate wild animals, and during times of natural disasters and conflict they send out emergency teams of vets and vet nurses to help those in need. On top of all of this, WVS has three International Training Centres based in India and Thailand, committed to the practical training of international vets and vet students.
WVS and I firmly believe in the ethos of a united profession championing animal welfare worldwide.
Why? Because every animal matters.
