We provide an alternative education for children unable to cope in mainstream school due to social and learning differences. The majority of children that attend our centre have suffered from anxiety, bullying and are on the autistic spectrum. Our centre is in Eltham, London.

Story

Ok, so why give your hard earned cash to SAFE?  Here's three reasons why you might want to do so.

We provide a safe place for bullied children to recover

I hope none of you reading have ever had to go through the heartache of your children being bullied, because I know how truly devastating the effects can be.  Unfortunately, we have.  That's why we set up our centre, in order to help other families in the same situation.  Currently, there are no other provisions in Bexley or Greenwich that offer bullied children refuge and support.

We offer specialised teaching for children with autism and related conditions

Again, I hope none of you reading this will have endured the relentless battles with the authorities to provide support for your children that are struggling to cope every single day in school.  Apparently, over 90% of autistic children are 'coping well enough' to receive NO additional support.  If your child is diagnosed as autistic, believe me, they need support.

We help children in need because we truly care

All the staff at SAFE volunteer their time and resources to teach the children that attend.  Everybody involved has either friends or family that are affected by autism or bullying and knows what a life-line the centre really is.  All money goes straight into keeping the centre running and giving the children the best education and therapy we can offer.

Please, please help us continue our work and reach out and help more families that are going through the same as we once did.

Thank you for reading this.
