First of all, I would just like to let you know that I hate heights, and yet I am willing to jump out of an aeroplane this Summer to raise lots of money for the Mara Rianda Charitable Trust.

The Mara Rianda Charitable Trust has provided two schools in the Masia Mara region of Kenya; with fresh clean water, built classrooms for safe study, installed toilets, and funded the secondary education for over 30 students. Although all this is a great achievement, I really hope to help the trust do even more for the community.

My mum and stepdad went on a trip to Kenya last year, and visited the school and its students that this charity supports. They came back with many heart-wrenching stories about the people they spoke to and the work that the school had been doing to help them. I felt compelled to do something to help this charity, therefore.. for some reason, decided to hurl myself out of a plane. Although this sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon, I really wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have people who were kind enough to sponsor me, and help me raise money for the schools in Kenya.
