London's Air Ambulance Helipad Abseil · 12 September 2019 to 15 September 2019 ·

When patients in London suffer life-threatening injury, only our team can provide them with the help they need. With your support, we can perform complex procedures to save lives where others can’t. We can get there in time to make a difference and provide hope for the patient and their loved ones.

Story

It's happening!

I am going to be throwing myself off a 17 storey helipad in East London, raising money for London's Air Ambulance. 66% of people don't realise that the LAA is a charity which relies on donations to continue their amazing work. In 2017 and 2018 they completed 5 life saving roadside missions a day, and every time they takes off, it costs £1,700.

Obviously, I will have a hefty rope attached to my sizeable frame, but nevertheless, for someone who struggles descending a fire escape through a fear of heights, this will be a big step outside my comfort zone. Please give generously, if you live in London or you have ever seen this red helicopter over head, it is probably saving lives and it could one day save yours.
