Those closest to me know how much I hate running, so what better challenge to take on than the Great North Run? 

Yorkshire is one of the regions hardest hit by cancer, every week 600 people in Yorkshire are told they have cancer. Every 17 minutes someone is told the dreaded diagnosis. 

The aim of Yorkshire Cancer research is for more people to survive cancer each year!YCR fund researchers and cancer experts who pioneer early diagnosis and discover new and better treatments for people with cancer.

My family have been personally affected by cancer, my friends have been personally affected by cancer. Cancer does not discriminate. 

This challenge is for my Grandma Ange, the strongest woman I know, a superstar! These last 6 months have been hell but she’s shown who’s boss.
