I have taken part in the World Coal Carrying Championships before (aka ossett coal race for those who are local!) and came 5th. After the passing of an old school friend and fellow 'coil humper' in Dec last year, it seems only right that this year as I attempt to run it again, I try to raise some money in her honour. Sarah's battle with cancer was a long one, but she still took part in the coal race amongst many other charity races and events despite not being well.

In the words of Sarah ' Come on, it's only a hill...what do you want me to do, push you up it?!'
