On Sunday 11th May I shall be running the Bristol 10k in memory of my little sister, Alex!

I shall be raising money for the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal which is the charity for Bristol Children's Hospital. The place where Alex was treated, where I donate bone marrow to her and where we spent the last precious months as a family. This charity means an awful lot to us and does fabulous work to make the stay in hospital that little bit easier on the patients and their families. The hospital became my second home for those 5 months with regular trips back from university in Cardiff to Bristol and the staff became our extended family! Christmas Day of 2005 with the 5 of us and our favourite nurses will be one I remember fondly forever! The charity and it's staff have also been of great comfort to us in the 8 years since Alex died. We have done a lot of different things to raise money for them and give something back and so the time has come for me to pull my finger out and do something to challenge myself for this great cause!
