Along with my fellow rowers from Southport Rowing Club and friends, I am taking part in the Alder Hey Dragon Boat Festival, raising money for the Surgical Neonatal Appeal at Alder Hey. 

This hospital has been a massive part of our lives for the last 4 years since our youngest son was born with Chronic Kidney Disease in September 2018. After receiving his kidney transplant in January 22, I now want to give back to this amazing hospital where his life first began.

We don’t just want to try and win - we want to beat our fundraising target!
