Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself and my clients will walk over 120 miles (plus more!) for the remainder of October to fundraise for Beat, the UK's leading eating disorder charity.
Five years ago I chose to leave my full time job to work in the fitness industry. These past five years have been without doubt, the best five years of my life and every single client I have worked with has meant that I am grateful for my history of an eating disorder, because without it, I would not be fuelled with so much passion to ensure women approach their training and nutrition the right way - the total opposite to the way I once did.
Every year I make it my mission to raise awareness on eating disorders as I know each time I do, it helps at least one person reach out to Beat who provide the support that they need.
I am forever grateful for the clients I have worked with over the years and to all of those who are joining me on this 120 mile challenge!
We thank you so much for your donation.
How your donation makes a difference:
Each year Beat support tens of thousands of people and their loved ones on their journeys towards recovery from an eating disorder. Your fundraising makes this possible!
£1,350 could host 120 web chats to support those reaching out to speak about their eating disorder for the very first time
£130 could send Beat's supportive and educational carer packs to 120 families who have a loved one recently diagnosed with an eating disorder.
£30 could deliver 120 mins of online support groups, providing a friendly, safe and welcoming space where people can chat with others who understand what they’re going through.
