Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
In March 2008 I was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma (a rare form of bone cancer). I have had 6 courses of chemotherapy and 2 major operations on my right leg spending many weeks in Royal Preston Hospital,Manchester Children's Hospital and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham.I completed my treatment on the 11th Jan 2009 and am looking forward to returning to school at St Cecilia's in Longridge in the near future.I am having lots of physiotherapy to get me mobile again but my leg wound will not heal and I am probably going to need more surgery.
On July 3rd 2009 my dad,Dr Stephen Griffin and his friend Dr Cameron Wilson completed the Land's End to John O'Groats cycle ride over 13 days with the help of Andrew Griffin (support driver) in a BT sponsored van. Many other friends and colleagues have provided support and fundraising events towards the Bone Cancer Research Trust. Please continue to give generously. Many thanks for all your support.
