I became aware of pancreatic cancer when my Grandma died last year. Feeling unwell, she visited the doctor and was eventually diagnosed with this particularly painful illness. She was told it was too late to operate and she'd only have a few months to live. That's the thing about pancreatic cancer: there are no symptoms in the early stages, so by the time you realise you've got it, it's often too late to do anything about it. 

I'm trying to raise money and awareness for this illness in particular because I hope that with further research it would be possible for it to be diagnosed at an earlier stage, providing better chances of survival.
