Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've decided to "go long" for 2020 by attempting my first ironman distance triathlon (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, 26.2 mile run). Yes, it's a very long way (approximately 13 hours of continuous exercise for me) and yes, it's slightly crazy. What better opportunity to raise some money for charity?

I've chosen this charity because:

1) I believe that there are a multitude of physical and mental health benefits from taking part in sport.

2) I think it's important to develop a love of sport at an early age if possible.

3) Individuals with special needs should have an equal opportunity to access these benefits.
