Welcome to the London Marathon team page for our Rhino Runners Team 2021!

Story

The world's rhino species are currently facing one of the greatest threats to their survival in history. I am an Assistant Producer on wildlife documentaries and i have seen first hand that field conservation programs run by charities like Save the Rhino will make a huge difference to saving species and protecting the wider ecosystem.

I am a mum of two children under the age of four, I have very little time to train, but i am determined to run this marathon (....as a giant Rhino) and help raise as much as i can can to support these REAL LIFE UNICORNS.

Save the Rhino support FOUR species - Sumatran Rhino, White and Black Rhinos, Greater one-horned Rhino and the rarest large mammal on Earth - the Javan rhino. By donating today you are helping to save the lives of mammals found all over the world!

Extensive poaching for the rhino horn continues to threaten the survival of this iconic species with at least 1,054 rhino being poached in 2016 in South Africa alone.

By supporting Save the Rhino International these incredible runners are supporting:

- The dedicated rangers on anti-poaching patrols day and night.-The conservation officers educating the next generation of wildlife protectors.

-The behaviour changers working tirelessly with local enforcement agencies to reduce the demand for rhino horn in Asia.

Thank you so much for support. Wish us luck!
