Hello,

I think Im more shocked than you will be to see me appearing on this web page, even more so when I tell you that I'm attempting to cycle 420Km over 5 days in the Sinai desert, in temperatures up to 25deg- and even worse- without any lippy or mascara and in ridiculous padded pants!

There is a very good reason for this; my father John was passionate about the well being and oppotunities of others, and in particular, those less fortunate than ourselves and supported A.F.I.A. a Mothers Union Charity.

A.F.I.A provides holidays to disadvantaged families suffering from stress and families who may never have experienced a holiday together and children who may never have seen the sea. These holidays really are a life changing experience and make a huge difference.

November is fast approaching and although preparations are going well, I stilll need your support and encouragement to get me through the next few weeks.
