Anna was the loveliest, kindest, sharpest person in any room, and was a darling wife, mother, sister and daughter to her loving family. She was a woman of many talents, a truly exceptional person who could bring a smile or a laugh to anyone's face when the remarkable beam of her personality lit you up. She excelled at whatever she turned her hand to, be that teaching, quizzing, playing music, bringing up her three beautiful children with Christopher or making people laugh. She was truly a one-off, and we're all the richer for having shared our lives with her.

After a brave battle with illness, Anna passed away on 20th December 2019 surrounded by her loved ones. The care she was given by the wonderful team at St John's Hospice - and also on Ward 38 at Arrowe Park - was incredible, and brought great comfort to An, Chris and the kids. We're raising money for both of these great institutions of the NHS as a token of our appreciation for their selfless efforts.
