Unfortunately my Dad ignored the signs of bowel cancer and didn't get medical help until it was too late. However, there are good outcomes when bowel cancer is found early. I know two lovely lasses (they know who they are...) who were diagnosed early and got the medical attention they needed. Cancer can affect any of us, so a year later than we all planned I will be dragging myself around the new flipping course and will celebrate my good health and life in general while raising money for a fantastic charity.
