Through the difficult times of my marriage ending many, many people have been really kind and helpful. 

Holy Rood house, who I am running for, have been a wonderful, hospitable, home-from-home.  They are celebrating 25 years of existing next year and have launched a special fund to support their work of being a safe place at a time of need.

Valley Striders AC, who I'm running with, have supported my challenge to run my first half marathon in many ways.  Lots of friends there have been a blessing and encouragement in the last few months.
