In my 50th year I am going to swim 1 mile across Lake Windermere in the Great North swim in June 2015 to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Dementia is such a terrible incurable condition which slowly takes away personality, personal characteristics and memories for the person inflicted with this condition. Having cared for my mum with this condition it was truly upsetting to watch this happening,  whilst providing the care and support that was needed. Please support me and the Alzheimer's Society by sponsorship for this event however small the donation.  The money raised will all go to the Alzheimer's Society.
