Story
After 78 years of great health, my Mum was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer in November 2017. Apparently it’s a rare cancer and there’s a one in a million possibility of getting it. It’s been a tough time, but family and friends have been a great support and we are all adjusting to a new normality. Mum has been amazingly brave as she’s been going through this and she really values the charity we’d like to run for.
The NET Patient Foundation exists to support and inform patients and families from diagnosis, enabling access to the best care and treatment, whilst stimulating Neuroendocrine Cancer research, increasing national awareness and influencing improvements in outcomes.
I’m a slow runner but looking forward to the extraordinary buzz of attempting my second ever race!
Thank you so much for your support - either by reading this or if you’re able a small donation would be wonderful and much appreciated.
