Yes I have been accepted to run the London Marathon 2022 with MDUK which is a charity close to my heart. 

I have seen my mum, brothers and nephew struggle for years in pain where muscle wastage is destroying their abilities with so many operations to help ease discomfort doesn’t last long at all. With simple daily tasks which are easy for me and you but for them it takes a lot of strength or even someone else doing it for them. 

Me and my brothers care for my mum as she’s mainly wheelchair bound now and can’t do the housework or get her own shopping. She has daily careers for personal care and medication but it breaks my heart to see her struggle. Now seeing my little 8 year old nephew struggling to walk or try to run breaks my heart even more so. A trip to the park that’s such a fun child hood experience wares him out and he’ll need a sleep love him.

I want to raise as much money as possible to help beat muscle wastage conditions.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is the charity for the 70,000 children and adults living with muscle-wasting conditions in the UK. There's currently no cure, and it many cases, it limits lives. MDUK do vital work in funding pioneering research into treatments and cures as well as providing vital information, advice, resources and support for individuals and families living with these conditions.
