Swim the equivalent of the English Channel in your local pool while getting sponsored for every length. You'll cover an incredible 22 miles at your own pace and in your own time.

Story

For those of you that don't know, most mornings at 6:30am I am to be found swimming at the local leisure centre. I try to do 64 lengths although this depends upon whether we have guests in and at what time they want their breakfast!

Mike, mum and my auntie have all lived/are living with diabetes as are some of my friends. This is my way of helping raise awareness. While I am swimming Mike will be in the gym on the rowing machine, rowing the equivalent of the English Channel and back again.

The challenge takes place over 12 weeks starting on February 22nd 2018. Bridlington pool is 25 metres long. 64 lengths equals 1 mile. Therefore during this period I will be swimming 1,408 lengths.

Please help me raise my target!
