This summer myself and Genevieve will be travelling to Africa for 6 weeks with 'Friends of Africa'; I will be going to South Africa and Genevieve will be going to Tanzania. Friends of Africa is a registered charity that currently has several projects based in Zambia, Tanzania and South Africa. 

We will be involved in working with the local communities to help improve their circumstances and give them more opportunities in life e.g by building houses and teaching children. The projects FOA support aim to create a sense of ownership, achievement and empowerment, both for the African people and for the volunteers who take part in the projects.

As volunteers it is a fundamental requirement that we raise £6,000 (£3,000 each) for the benefit of these projects. Any donations would be greatly appreciated no matter how small. Anything will make a difference so please give what you can.
