ADD International is a disability rights organisation. We partner with organisations of disability activists and help them to access the tools, resources and support they need to build powerful movements for change. In this way we empower homegrown leaders to realise the change they want to see.

Story

To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, Paralympian Anne Wafula Strike will compete in the Silverstone Half Marathon to raise funds for, UK based, ADD International’s work with disabled women in Africa.
In poor countries disabled women and girls are among the most neglected people who are largely overlooked by other international charities and the mainstream women’s movement.
The money Anne raises will support organisations such as UNAFEHB who represent disabled women’s associations in Burkina Faso. Go to www.add.org.uk to read the full press release.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Please dig deep, support the rights of disabled women living in Africa and donate now!
