Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

PeerTalk (www.peertalk.org.uk) is a national charity that provides weekly volunteer-facilitated peer support groups for people living with depression,
anxiety and related distress. It was set up by a Methodist minister in 2014, since when it has set up 12 support groups, including 2 in Preston, which have been a lifeline to attendees particularly during the pandemic. “People start to heal the moment they feel heard” – I have seen this as a volunteer with one-to-one listening and I feel that Peer Talk has so
much to offer people. Please donate so they can continue and expand their work.
