As some of you know, last year we lost our beautiful friend Francesca Weaving to breast cancer, at the very young age of 35. Fran was an amazing friend, life of the party, who never failed to make us laugh. She was taken from us way too soon and she is very sorely missed. Her story is a stark reminder that we have a long way to go in cancer treatment, which is why I am raising money for Cancer Research. I have signed up for Race to the Tower on 25 June - a 52 mile/84 km route along the Cotswold way that finishes at Broadway Tower, not far from Fran’s hometown. I will take it on in one go, which will be no easy feat given the distance and 7550 ft/2280 meters of elevation. However I am determined to finish, to raise as much money as possible and help keep Fran’s memory alive. Any donation, big or small will be greatly appreciated.
