For Ann, gardening was a source of happiness and satisfaction, and a career that she loved. From starting out at horticultural college, through working building beautiful gardens for others, to her volunteer work for the Rose Society once retired, this was where she felt at home. This project aims to offer young people the chance to access training and mentoring to follow her into gardening, and she would have been so happy to think she could have helped others do something that she found so rewarding. As her family, this is how we would like to remember her.
