In memory of Elizabeth Mcconnell

Our charity cares for adults in Ayrshire and Arran with life-limiting illnesses. We help them live as actively as possible to the end of their lives, however long that may be. Hospice care is open to all. It’s free for patients but it’s not free to provide. So we need to raise over £4M each year.

Story

Right here goes!

As most of you know I lost my mum last November. She was an amazing woman and an inspiration to many others and I miss her so much.

As a gesture in her memory I am fundraising for her favourite charity; letting my daughter Lizanne shave my hair off
🙈!

I am doing this on what would have been Mum's 85th birthday, which is on the 10th March.

Mum regularly contributed to the Ayrshire Hospice over many years, and I have had a couple of aunties, and a cousin as well as my god mother receive outstanding end of life care there, so all monies donated will be sent to them.

No description available.

My lovely talented nephew Glenn who was very close to his gran has set up this fundraising page to send the proceeds directly to the hospice.

At 8pm on Wednesday 10th March 2021 I will go live on Facebook and my head will be shaved to a number 3 cut, if I make over £500 for the hospice I will go to a number one!
🙈🤪

I’ll try and make it entertaining so dig deep folks mum would be very proud of this.😘
