Anne plus 14 family and friends are celebrating her 70th birthday, which was in lockdown, by abseiling for Alzheimer’s Society! 

This charity supports people and their families living with dementia, in a variety of ways. Alzheimer’s Society aims to create a society where those living with dementia are supported, accepted and able to live in their community safely and without discrimination.

The abseilers are:
Anne Crawford, Hilary Garratt, Jessica Garratt, Josie Clarke, Maggie Wilson, Lynne Sefton, Aobh Sharvin, Jake Walpole, Sarah Garratt, William Garratt, Agatha Zarzycki, Sue Vaughn, Sheila Smallwood, Vicky Blackwell and Linda Terry.

We are abseiling down St Chad’s Church, York on September 18th 2021, which is quite a ‘ big scary step’ for some of us!
