I wanted to start a Fundraising Walk in honor of my Mom. I’d like to raise awareness for this condition as well as funds for the Hydrocephalus Association. My Mom had Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, which slowly robbed her of her life. She was always a  strong, independent woman and this condition eventually took everything away from her. It was heartbreaking to watch, and yet I’m grateful that I could be the one to care for her when she needed someone to do all the things she no longer could. I miss her so very much.
