Coast to Coast, Morecambe to Bridlington · 28 September 2012

Bradford Hospitals' Charity supports Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to provide funding for equipment, training and research. We also support out staff to achieve this. Our vision is to provide the very best care and treatment for the people of Bradford.

Story

On 28th September a team of 50 riders will embark upon a 170 mile, 3 day Coast to Coast challenge following the Way of the Roses route from Morecambe to Bridlington.

The ride is a launch event for Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity, which has been set up to raise funds to enhance the hospital environment for babies, children and their families and carers. The money raised will help to provide state of the art equipment for critically ill babies, children and teenagers, as well as superb play, rest and therapy facilities.

The money we raise will help make the stay of children, their parents and carers more comfortable and ultimately less stressful in difficult times.

We would really appreciate any donation you are able to give- every little bit helps.

The team is comprised of members of staff, colleagues and friends, all of whom are training hard!
