Swindon Advocacy Movement, affectionately known by its members as SAM, is a user led independent advocacy service for people with a learning disability in Swindon. Empowering people to have their say, SAM enables individuals to take control of their lives, gaining access to help and services.

Story

Swindon Advocacy Movement (SAM), what a super place to work!

The people who take part in our projects, our staff and
volunteers and our committee members all work together to make Swindon a town that
includes all members of society, whether they have support needs or not.

Café Connect

SAM is developing an exciting new opportunity for people
with learning disabilities.

“Café Connect” is an initiative that will see people with
support needs learn skills for future employment. We believe in empowerment,
enablement and nurturing confidence to allow everybody to have the opportunity
to be employed.

The aspiration is to see Café Connect host cafes in various
community settings in and around Swindon.

To help us realise this ambition please sponsor me!!

Every little helps…
