Story

St. Joseph & St. Patrick's Church is an important part of Inverkip and Weymss Bay life.  Not only does the Church provide a place of worship but it also holds a number of annual Community events throughout the year and is well supported by the local Community.
As the Church and its facilities are well used, the Parish Council decided that the purchase of a defibrillator would be of benefit to the Parish and to the local Community.
Taking part in the Inverclyde STRIDE Coastal Walk will allow our Parishioners and others to help purchase this expensive piece of equipment.  At the same time, those taking part in the walk will be able to meet other organisations and individuals and learn about the causes that they support.
The St. Joseph & St. Partrick's Church defibrillator fund has already been given a head start by a £250 grant received from Inverkip and Wemyss Bay Community Council earlier in the year.
