In July 2018, I suffered a stroke which has left me partially paralysed down my left side. I was inspired by Captain Tom & whilst I walk with some considerable difficulty, I am very determined & I decided I wanted to take on my own challenge to send my appreciation to the wonderful nurses & doctors who work in our NHS. 

My daughter-in-law Beverley, is chair of Chesterfield Royal Charity & has told me about the fabulous work they do for staff and patients at the hospital so I would like to add my support - thank you for helping me to help them! 💙
