The infamous Marathon Du Medoc is one of the most challenging marathons on the planet and I am running it on 7th September for Citizens Advice East Herts.

It is challenging not because it goes up mountains or across deserts - it is a challenge because the runners have to negotiate 23 exceptional wines and sample beef, oysters, cheese and ice cream on the way round. And all in fancy dress in the Bordeaux sunshine... clearly an awful situation.

Or to put it another way I will be running 26 miles while drunk.
