Pseudomyxoma Survivor aims to raise awareness of PMP and appendix cancers, to provide emotional and practical support and information to survivors and their families on our website and online community. We are also dedicated to raising funds for research into this extremely rare disease.

Story

Crazy as it may seem, I have decided to put myself to the test (again) by entering the Abersoch Triathlon which involves swimming, cycling and running consecutively.

I've chosen the Pseudomyxoma Survivor (PMP) charity. This is not a well known charity as the cancer is very rare but one that has affected our family and is therefore very close to my heart. If you feel able to sponsor me please do as this will spur me on with my training and ultimately help me cross the finish line.

Pseudomyxoma Survivor is a non-profit organization, run by patients and caregivers. We have a thriving support community supporting anyone whose life has been touched by pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) as well as appendix cancer and other peritoneal surface malignancies. We’re completely dependent on voluntary donations. Our patron is Sean Hepburn Ferrer. Sean’s mother, Audrey Hepburn, passed away shortly after being diagnosed with PMP.
