Story
Hi, my name is Annie Sherman and I attend Camp Blue Ridge. I have been going to camp since 2018 and it has changed my life forever. Camp has taught me many life lessons and provided me with lifelong friendships. I strongly feel that every kid should get the opportunity to go to camp, and because of this I decided to work with SCOPE for my Bat Mitzvah project. My Bat Mitzvah is this March and when I started to think about what I wanted to do for my Mitzvah project I knew immediately I wanted to work with SCOPE after my brother worked with them a few years ago for his Mitzvah project. SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education) is an amazing non-profit organization that sends underprivileged kids ages 7-16 who are enrolled in public school or public charter school to non-profit resident camps across the country. I want to be a part of an organization that helps allow kids to get the experiences I have been lucky to have, and that is why I chose to work with SCOPE.
One of my favorite things about Blue Ridge is how it is a uniform camp, so when thinking about what I wanted to do for SCOPE I took that into consideration. Camp is a place where everyone should get to be themselves, and not worry about what they are wearing, which is why I love the uniform so much. I created a Blue Ridge sweatshirt and I am selling it to Blue Ridge campers (and anyone else who wants one!) as a sweatshirt that will be allowed to be worn at camp. All of the proceeds will go to SCOPE.
If you would like to purchase a sweatshirt please complete this google form:

The sweatshirt will cost $55 and payment will be made through Venmo. My Venmo is @swagforscope and the cut off for purchasing this amazing sweatshirt is March 31st.
This is a LIMITED EDITION one time only sale! Please consider purchasing this sweatshirt, it is for an amazing cause! And of course if you would like to make a donation to SCOPE instead of purchasing a sweatshirt, that is always welcome. Click the "give now" button to make a donation (but don't forget, if you want a sweatshirt please fill out the google form instead).
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to both the team at Smiles4SCOPE for letting me use their logo and to Jessica Jacobs at Everything Camper for producing the sweatshirts and all of the help and guidance she gave me along the way. And of course thank you to Adam, Sheryl and Richie and the entire CECBR family for supporting me and always doing everything you can to support SCOPE.
Thank you so much!
