In September 2024, I am taking on a Mighty Hike along the beautiful Northumberland coastline to raise money for people living with cancer. I have pledged to raise £1000 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. I am walking the 26.1 miles in memory of Julie Cooke, a lady I have never met, but whose beauty and warmth lives on in her daughter, who lost her mum far too young. In July this lovely girl marries my son, and I know that her mum Julie will be there in spirit. I am also walking to show my support for all of those people I love who have suffered from cancer, either themselves, or through losing a loved one.

It is a long way for someone with such short legs, and I would be so grateful for any donation, no matter how small.
