We are raising funding for childhood brain tumour research in honour of Lucas, who fought with great courage and bravery, but tragically died 4-weeks before his 7th birthday. Help us to reach our £200,000 target for The Institute of Cancer Research, who are finding new treatments in Lucas's name x

Story

“LoveNeverEnds”

Lucas was a little boy loved beyond measure by his Mummy and Daddy and all of his family and friends too.

Sadly, Lucas died from a brain tumour 4 weeks before his 7th birthday.

I have followed the journey of Lucas’ Legacy for some time but when I read the article shared by his parents (below) I thought I would complete a challenge for Lucas.

Over 3 days I have planned to virtually cycle just over 200 miles to Sandy Bay in Devon. Sandy Bay was the last family holiday that Lucas shared with his parents before he died.

I will continue with my full time job in the NHS whilst completing this challenge. I love a spin class but have never really covered this distance. Thank you to MADE wellness centre at Moddershall Oaks for allowing me to use the cycle facilities and thank you to the MADE staff and members who have supported me and my plans.

Please, if you can, however big or small donate and share this post. This will not only raise awareness but provide funding for Childhood Brain Tumour Research which takes place at The Institute of Cancer Research in London.

With kind permission from Lucas’ Mummy, I am sharing photos of Lucas on holiday in Sandy Bay.
