Story

Anokhi says:

Dear friends and family,

Why? Our sponsored hike is to raise some money for an orphanage called "Bala Orphanage" in South-West Kenya. The children are aged 1-15 years and rely on their visitors to make sure they have what they need. The children help their guardians by doing work around the home.

When? Our sponsored hike in Nepal starts on the 8th April 2008 and ends on the 17th April 2008. The highest altitude we reach will be 3600m so we'll be glad when we come home!

To sponsor us, please make a donation on our web page.

Thank you very much,   Anokhi.

Jahnavi says:

Hello Everyone,

My sister and I are doing a sponsored hike in Nepal this month. Our trek will cover the Helambu region and we will be walking about 6 or 7 hours evey day for 9 days. I am nervous because it may be quite windy and I might be blown away, plus my legs are short so I have to take many steps.

I think I will be able to see the whole of Nepal because the altitude will be max 3600m. We will also see mountain villages, Yaks and snow capped mountain peaks.

Wish us luck!

From  Jahnavi.
