I was diagnosed with Stargardt's Macular degeneration in 2016. Since then I've had to adapt to a life with sight loss.As my condition progressed I had to give up my motorcycle license and have found it increasingly difficult to read books and recognise faces.

Moorfield's Eye Charity research sight loss and eye health to create new treatments for people like me. With their help, someday people diagnosed with conditions like mine will not have their world turned upside down because there will be effective and affordable treatment. 

My family and I are walking to raise money for Moorfield's Eye Charity. In 2018 we walked together from Moorfield's Eye hospital to the London Eye. However, this year that won't be possible so we're all walking at the same time in different places across the country. I know it has been a tough year for many, but please consider donating what you can. Thank you.
