Story

Hey everyone, thanks a lot for even coming here. It's been over a year since you saw the flesh of my palms begging for your change, couple of things have happened since.

So the Great Wall was a success, the great north run was hard. Raised 8 grand myself with massive help from Santander and was part of the team that got together and raised £250,000.

Not it long after I got back from China we got some terrifying and out of left field news that Becca had Cancer. Brave little Geordie that she is had to have Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy at the same time as well as some surgery and a blood transfusion. It doesn't make for fun reading, living through it was a nightmare.

By the grace of god we are sat here now watching rugby and eating weatabix, and it's time to say thanks to the charities that helped us, especially Becca along the way. There's Weston Park and the Willow foundation, but firstly Macmillan, no real order of merit, they just happened to have guaranteed places for the great north run Haha.

So I'm going for a modest 200 quid this time round, which Aviva will double for us. So whatever you feel like giving just think it'll come to us twice. If all our friends gave us a quid then we'd smash this target so whatever you can help with is going to be really gratefully received.

For this generosity I'm doing 3 half marathons this year, one in Sheffield in April and the GNR, I've not picked the third yet but probably Birmingham in October.

Oh and by the time I do the GNR the girl who I'm running around for will be Mrs Bolland (or Towler-Bolland) Weird eh?

Cheeeeers!
